A soft giggle broke the silence in the room. "Oh, let's not be hasty," said Russia from behind his companions. "Why don't you just come quietly with me, Lithuania? I'll make a good home for you in Russia, you know, and I'm sure Poland will quite enjoy being with Austria and Prussia. See, everyone can be happy!"

"That's not what we agreed on," Prussia interjected. "Poland's nice and all, but Austria and I want at least a little of Lithuania, too."

"Oh, fine. But just a little. He doesn't look like he wants to go with you, does he?"

"He doesn't need to." There was a menacing smirk on Prussia's face that made Lithuania's skin crawl; the brunette shifted his feet a little wider so that he was certain Poland was hidden completely behind him. Prussia only smiled wider. "We can take what we want right here."

Disgust and terror battled in Lithuania's throat. They're bickering over us, he realized, horrified. Parsing us out, with us right here in the room - as if we were just property!Austria cleared his throat softly, watching Lithuania ( ... )
