Dinnertime, and Alfred is already sorry he asked.

His hand hovers uncertainly over his plate, fork still in grip; he calls on all his senses of proper etiquette (meticulously instilled under Arthur's diligent care), but finds he can't tear his gaze away from the gently smiling man across the table long enough to carry on the casual pretense. Finally, he gives up and puts the utensil down, staring.

"You want me to what?"

"You did say anything," says Toris, shrugging delicately. "I just assumed that you really meant it. Pass the bread, please."

"Of course I did!" he protests. "But I didn't think--I mean--you--why that?"--Not to sound unappreciative, of course," continues Lithuania blithely, ignoring his employer's outburst and reaching for the basket himself. "I think it's very generous of you to make me an offer like that so out of the blue

"Look," he soothes, getting up off the bed with as much grace as he can muster and embracing Alfred lightly from behind. "It'll be alright. I'm not new to this

He reaches up and caresses the face hovering above his, brushes dark hair away from now shut eyes. It's good like this, he thinks, why can't they just stay like this, normal and passionate and alive and--

--And it's not to be, because now somehow they've flipped and he finds himself on top, where oh where was he keeping all that strength, the quiet little thing, and Toris is taking hold of his hands again, gently coercing them down from his face to what Alfred is rapidly realizing is an absurdly vulnerable oversight as far as human anatomy is concerned. There's some uncertain maneuvering and a brief, almost terse coaching session ("no, no, not there, here, that's it, and yes, you're supposed to press down, Alfred, it's alright"), but at last they reach a rhythm he's almost comfortable with and stick to it

"I--I still don't see quite what you're getting out of this--" the blonde says, shaking his head.

"I'm beginning to wonder myself, at this rate," comes the wry reply.

"--But a promise is a promise, and if you still oh my god Toris!" it takes all of his effort to keep from squeaking the last words out as he suddenly finds his jeans zipper opened and the precious territory behind it most unceremoniously invaded.

"I'm not sure I can think of many more ways to convince you that I want this, Alfred. Will this finally suffice, do you think?"

"Hhngh."

"Wonderful. Now kiss me, please."

Alfred starts to lean downward, but once again has to hesitate. Damn him, thinks Lithuania idly.

"Just--stop me if I hurt you, ok?"

"I promise I'll let you know." If Alfred didn't know better, he'd almost think Toris was growling.

"Ok, ok. Only, only how will you be able to tell me anything while I'm--OW!"

"Look at that, we have a safety signal. Think you'll be able to feel that in the heat of the moment

I know this was a weird prompt, and I'm really happy to see it filled, and so wonderfully too! It was so sweet and so hot at the same time, and repressed!America was so cute and appropriate (he probably would be awkward with some of kinkier stuff that involves pain), and it was nice to see Lithuania getting frustrated with America's awkwardness. Thank you very much, anon writer!

That was so damn awesome. I dunno why but Alfred's nervousness gave me such happy squishy feelings in my heart. The ending was great. The tie part was a good detail.

...I kind of want to know how Al reacts to THAT XD (Although I have the weird feeling he'd be more okay with it. Dunno why.)

I was nervous on how this would turn out -- too dark for my tastes or the like, you know -- but this was just great. Ahhwlkjksdfsd the little history bits and the CHARACTERIZATION and ♥♥

I loved their way of interacting and communicating with each other and, and the shadows of Russia here and there to spice things up... This was glorious!

Author anon, this is just... really, really something. The characterization was fantastic, and America's concern was genuinely touching. I'll be honest; I avoided reading this fill for a long time even though I like the pairing a lot because I was worried that it would be dark, but you handled it beautifully. The discussion about Russia was just so well done.

Add me to the list of people who were scared that this would be too dark and then were delighted to find out that it wasn't. I love your Lithuania AND your Alfred (I especially love it when he's repressed). Definitely one of my favorite fills on the meme. Thank you, anon. =D

You know, I was reading this during a huge thunderstorm and just imagined flashes of lighting during the breath play which fit really well cause breath play is just... you know.
I bet Lithuania picked up that fetish from Russia! 8D
If he did indeed have "relations" with Russia and enjoyed it, he's bound to developed some strange sexual desires.
Poor America! But he's too good of a guy to turn him down, it was really sweet that his put aside his obvious and understandle discomfort just to do that for Liet. How can such a dark fetish be written in such a sweet manner? I don't know but ya did it!
