This turned into a total America!angstfest instead of the PWP Obama/America I first intended. Sorry, couldn’t resist giving all the background detail that would lead to the Obama/Alfred moment at the end. If you are a fan of the Bush Administration you may want to skip this one. I needed bad guys for my story and they were the best candidates available. I totally rushed through this too because I so wanted to get it to you fast so please forgive the lack of quality in the writing and my many mistakes that I’m sure are in there somewhere.

OMG. I LOVED THIS SO MUCH. Ok, I admittedly didn't like seeing America get beat up and abused, but I don't care because OBAMA WAS AWESOME.

Glad you liked it. Yeah, my dark side might have come out a little in the abuse parts (I'm a big fan of extreme hurt/comfort,) but I thought it was necessary to emphasise the significance of Obama's appearance in the end. Happy he came across as awesome, cause IMO he really is ^_^

I'm Canadian myself, that's part of the reason Canada was featured so much in this story ^_^. I was finger printed several times when going across the border and questioned a lot. You see Obama is good news not just for the US but for all of us. That's probably why the rest of the world cheered him on so much.

I admit I was weary of reading this in fear of the image of Obama nude being burned into my mind.

Nude Obama!!! LOL. I don't fancy that image any more than you do :) Obama here is like a guardian, or older brother. I was aching more for a H/C scenario rather than plotless romp. Glad you found it tasteful.

Absolutely WONDERFUL. Actually the lack of sex is good--sex in this case would have ruined the moment. The sweetness and gentleness of what DOES happen in here is just so PERFECT. SAVING FOR POSTERITY.
