America was somewhat used to falling asleep in his bed and awakening on cold metal tables, with large-eyed strangers peering down at him-it was all part of the job, after all. What he was not used to was falling asleep in his bed, and waking in what seemed to be a cloud, surrounded by a number of glowing individuals, each eyeballing him with the same hungry expression he saw Russia give everyone. America watched the glowing figures before him with a wary smile and fidgeted under their gazes. He offered them a sheepish wave and stammered, “H-hi!”
Two of the figures exchanged weary looks. A man with a thick beard and a sword at his hip shook his head with a sigh and chided, “Typical America squirmed self-consciously under the intense scrutiny and feebly tried to bury himself in his cloud. “Erm,” he said, rather unintelligently, “What’s going on
