Five minutes later, America had switched on his bedside lamp, and was perched at the edge of the mattress listening to his friend and former housemate sob uncontrollably.
"Liet, what's the matter?"
"I... I just... he... I'm sorry, I'm so sorry to call in the middle of the night b--but h--he -- it's the f--first time he's slept i--in two days and I don't -- I

"He likes me best. He always has," Liet explained. "I came because I thought I could calm him down. I could sometimes when I lived here, when he was really low. But every time I try -- he doesn't listen. He knocks the tea away or he yells at me and says it doesn't matter. That it's too cold here, and the sunflowers won't grow, and he hates everything. And he can't sleep at night because he's depressed and anxious, and that makes him even worse. Thank God he finally dozed after lunch

The things other nations called him about? SO PRICELESS. Still loling.
Also, the US/Liet UST is delicious, and the complicated, painful affection between Liet and Russia is so beautiful!!! I love this anon. I can't wait for the rest.
