Not!OP is smiling and smiling and smiling after reading this. ♥ I love little America's bravery, and the way that England not only saw what was being hidden behind it but didn't diminish that show of bravery.

There really needs to be more fic of young!America. I'm also a fan of sappy/cute/fluff. That said, this is utterly cute and sweet. The last line especially made me both smile and ache for what is to come. Love this~

You are making me miss the kids I take care of at my job in child care. And those kids wear me out most days.

This is brilliant, anon, and very, very accurate in describing a kid's usual temperament. XD So sweet! I want to hug something now. (Not OP, but doesn't the OP usually tell you who they are?)
