Rain before seven, clear before eleven

Pairings + rain
Anon would like to see various pairings under the rain (or in relation to it) and also using the quote "rain before seven, clear/fine/stops before eleven" in it (yes, there are a few variations but up to writer!anon how to word it).
Preference for France/England and Russia/Canada, but other pairings are welcomed! Multiple fills encouraged!!!
It was nice of England to lend him the umbrella after the unusually early meeting, Spain thinks as he opens it up to the pouring rain of Brussels. He steps under it and starts walking -- pauses and watches a shrouded figure, trying to hide from the pouring rain under a coat, hunched over and making their way by. He smiles and strides over, sharing the umbrella.
It's England, and while Spain should be surprised (hadn't the guy given him his umbrella, after all?), he is.
They walk along in silence until it's time to part - one road to Madrid, one road to a ship that will sail across the English Channel and land close to London - and Spain smiles and thanks him for the umbrella. He returns it, and England snorts in embarrassment but nods; he glances at the sky, dreary if letting up a bit, and smiles slightly at Spain.
"Rain before seven, clear before eleven."
Spain blinks and laughs, gives England a small hug, and strides into the rain, towards his own sunny home.
>//o//< *flails flails* This pairing is like a super secret OTP of mine so seeing them together is making me flail like a helpless fish. Even if it was just a friendly gesture, to read more about this pairing is putting a smile on my face already! XD
Ah... *hugs* You shouldn't be embarrassed. It was a sweet fill btw. \o/
Belgium sighs and peers out into the rain; what fitting weather for the post-war years. She nearly jumps when arms wrap around her waist, and a head lays on her shoulder. Out of the corner of her eye, Belgium sees it's France; this relaxes her and she leans back against him, a smile despite the past years between them. He whispers a reminder about the Ruhr and war reparations; she nods slightly, though not wanting to hear of such things while having such a peaceful moment.
"Frankrijk, the saying goes 'rain after seven, clear before eleven', correct?"
"Oui, Belgique."
"Mm. I wonder if that applies to war as well."
The air becomes thick with uneasiness, and Belgium excuses herself. France frowns, then pulls the drapes closed.
You're welcome! I personally have a strange fascination for, really, any pairing with Belgium this stems off of my insane obsession for her - and the country, too, not just the Hetalia representative of it, and... I tend to actually write stories about her too much.

*pats pats* No worries... For me, the first thing I associate with Belgium are those delicious Belgian chocs. ^^ I'm starting to get interested in Belgium's history too...
you can go heavy on me and I will not weigh you down

Matthew has fallen in love with England. There’s something exhilarating about the busy London docks; a strange charm to the grey skies and lingering rain. While Arthur is busy at Westminster, he likes to thread his way through the streets and inhale the vibrancy of the city, feeling it pulse with life underfoot. And it doesn’t matter if Arthur calls him a fool, because he catches green eyes chasing after him - a fondness and pride clearly evident

He stared up at the completely grey sky, the long sleeves of his suit limp by his side. Really, the change in weather had been so sudden, he was certain no one had expected it. He hadn’t thought about grabbing an umbrella on his way out (really, what was the point?), and now he was stuck under the meagre shelter of a bus stop, nowhere near his intended destination. It seemed that whether he decided to trek back home or wait for the rain to let up, he was going to be late
