Authors notes: BTW in AU, 'Knight' is Alfred's code name as the notorious thief and currently the only name Officer 'Arty' Kirkland knows him by. At least for the moment. Hope you don't mind, but I also switched genders for Arthur, (it was an option so I took it.) More chapters to come. ;-)

Euh, I pretty much wrote such a fail! comment. augh. What I meant to say is that the Knight is such a fitting alias for Alfred because of ytale-y Arty. And I just realised that fem!Arthur's name here is Artemis, right? asdjelga! brb. goes incoherent again.

Both of us are glad you are enjoying the story. We weren't sure what you'd think since we took a different direction with the story idea. We hope it continues to live up to your expections as we reach the end. We'll post a section a day until it's done. This has been fun for us to collaborate on. Last chapter will have an ending number :)
