It isn't until, months after the hiring of an American boy, during a birthday party for a mutual friend, he meets the new co-worker that he is strike with familiarity.
Arthur knows that he should be happy for his Italian friend, but there's a dull ache as he watches Romana interact with Antonio. The two were so obviously in love, even Arthur can tell.
It's when his eyes slide pass Marica, a close friend of his, engaged in a conversation with another co-worker, Sebastian, as he surveys the crowd, that he notices the new guy.
The American boy Marica has mentioned a couple times over their chats.
And instantly, he feels that same pull that he felt when he first cast his glance upon Antonio, upon Marica, and upon Romana. Except this time, it's harder and there's an even closer sense of familiarity than the time he met Marica for the very first time
