I've seen fics revolving around non-con, and I've seen fics revolving around the recovery period after non-con. Well, I would now like to see this:
Some time after having been raped (preferably by someone he trusted), America, with the help of *insert nation-tan boyfriend here* has for the most part recovered from his ordeal, able to act (for the most part) as he did before his assualt. However, since his attack, he and his lover have yet to get intimate.
This anon wants to see the two of them having loving, gentle sex as America tries to take the final steps toward recovery (yes, this means he bottoms, because as I see it, him able to trust someone enough to allow himself in such a vunerable, raw position is a vital part of recovery from such a horrible ordeal). Through Alfred's flashbacks, panicking and insecurity, fear and pretty much anything the writer chooses, America's lover is understanding, loving and supportive as America heals. <3

Alfred opens his eyes, eyelashes fluttering as his focus adjust to the room.
He frowns at the softness in his head, the way everything seems to swim, how heavy his body feels. Something about the room is different; its smell, its colors, the way the air feels so cold and chill against his bare skin….
Wait.
He went to bed wearing boxers and a t-shirt.
“Alfred.”
And part of him goes oh, fuck.
“And people think I drink too much.” Alfred shivers at the warm accent on his ear. “Imagine how surprised they were when they saw just how much of a lightweight you are.”
And something’s wrong, because for some reason Alfred realizes what will happen, but at the same time he doesn’t and oh God, oh God, he can’t breathe or think or even move

OP bows to you in gratefulness! It looks awesome so far, and I too am glad that it wasn't Russia, because, while I wouldn't have *minded* (obviously, from my request XD), he's featured as a rape-truck sooo often. Not to mention, the way you portrayed Arthur's mindset is just so much creepier than the cliched, twisted!Russia. I got chills, the way Arthur was just thinking that this was what he deserved, the way he felt Alfred should not only be willing, but *grateful*. My heart went out to poor Alfred D8

Slow!anon a/k/a the anon who offered to fill this originally is chiming in to the chorus thanking you, Author!anon, for not making the rapist Russia. In fact, one of the main reasons I offered to fill this was my dread at the thought of another rapist!Russia fic, and especially when it comes to America. So now I feel relieved of having to write my fill, because I also was going to make England he rapist (and since I ship UK/US, that was going to be a hard thing, indeed...).
All that aside, I'm really looking forward to where this goes! My spidey sense tells me the "attacker" in the present is Matthew, which makes my toe curl. But even if I'm wrong, I'll definitely be following this one.

I love the sensitivity with which you're handling and developing this, Author!anon. The relationship between Alfred and Matthew, though we've seen only glimpses of it so far, seems so healthy and lovely--not only for the way Matthew's patience is coming through, but also for the easy repartee between them in lighter moments. I utterly adore this:

Matthew chuckles and tightens his arms. “Of course you do, you big idiot. It’s geography.”
“I loathe that excuse,” Alfred murmurs, feathering lips over Matthew’s temple.

There's such a sweetness and honesty and easiness to their relationship. I know there's a dark, tough road ahead, but I have so much hope for them. ♥

I love so much about this, it's crazy. No doubt I'll forget to list something, but I'll try.
Matthew and Alfred's relationship, for one. You portrayed the healthiness of it so well. The way they felt so comfortable and natural around each other was spectacular, and you could definitely see it in their interactions. The dialogue between them, the hesitant but growing physical contact, the joking, was all so natural and just so lovely for it. <3
Matthew's strength, also. How he could hold back on his hurt to comfort Alfred, hold him close and calm him just because he knows what Alfred likes so well. It's very obvious he knows Alfred, truly, deeply and intimately

You know...and it is. This was perfect!
I love that you made Arthur the rapist, because as much as I love UK/US, Arthur's feelings for Alfred can very easily take on a very dark, possessive, and twisted cast. And I LOVE that Canada is the one seeing him through it, because I adore Canada/America as well. (And hey, Canada topping is geographic canon!)

This just gets better and better with every piece added~ I love that you're really taking the time to develop things, and flesh out Alfred and Matthew's relationship, as well as the two of them alone. Matthew's so kind and gentle that it makes me wanna quibble and just love him for being so supportive and patient, and basically just awesome. Alfred's mental state is so well-portrayed too, how you can tell he's healing, but the wounds are definitely still there, still open, and tiny things just trigger such guilt. :hugs Alfred:
I think the way you display them so casual is my favorite part about this, though <3 Little things like mentioning the doctor, the simple kisses they share... :sighs: France, too, was definitely a great addition. “Matthew,” he mutters. “Matthew, did you really…?”
Alfred doesn’t even bother with conditioner and almost forgets to turn off the shower. He stumbles out - ah, careful, that’s tile - and wraps a towel around his waist, pushing open the bathroom door. “Matt?” he shouts, moving down the stairs in quick but careful steps.
“In the kitchen, Al!”
Alfred stumbles a little, still dripping wet, and has to grab the doorframe for support.
His mouth falls open. He can’t stop staring - oh, God, he really did…
Matthew turns from the two skillets on the stove to Alfred with a big smile. “I was going to go make you some Canadian-style pancakes, but then you had to go and say you wanted burgers.” Matthew narrowed his eyes and his lips, shaking his spatula at America. “So I had to go and make a compromise.”
He turns back to the skillet without another word, scrapes off one of the burgers, and lays it on a pancake.
OP definitely feels spoiled now <3

Alfred's teetering between happiness, guilt and disgust continues to tug on my heartstrings, and I pray that Matthew will finally be able to bring him some peace~ You're so good at making me feel for these two! I really, really want them to find happiness~
Also, Arthur continues to grow more and more twisted, and OP awaits future discoveries about him and just how the situation between he and Alfred was ended and discovered... :shakes fist at possessivelytwisted!Arthur:
