I'm tired of the fact that you never listen to me. I don't understand what's wrong with wanting a little representation. You can say good bye to our current (and any future) special relationship.
No love,
America.

Dear America,
Throwing my tea out wasn't enough for you? Now you want to end our relationship? I'm on my way over to discuss this.
Grow up,
England

Sorry, OP. This just...came to mind. I'll just scurry off over here then.

Another small fill, with a different Author anon. This is my first time filling, so please be gentle with me
Dear Mexico,
You're not who you used to be. The changes that you've made to our relationship have only made things worse. I'm leaving.
Tired of this, Texas
Dear Texas,
I did what had to be done. We need to talk about this. I'm coming over.
Irritatedly, Mexico
Author's note: The Texas revolution happened after Mexico passed the Constitution on 1835, which was an unpopular move though out most of Mexico. Prior to it being passed, Texas and Mexico were already developing a strained relationship. On one hand, the Mexican government reneged on certain agreements that had been made with the new Texas settlers, along with moving the capital of the region over 500 miles from Texas, and a few other not-so-popular changes. The settlers didn't help matters by completely ignoring the laws they didn't like, so by the time the new constitution was passed, it didn't take much spark the Texas Revolution. /nerdfest

(Author anon, i liked your post a lot so i hope you don't mind if i write a bit more based on it :3)
Dear Mexico:
Don't even bother to come here, you know as well as me that things can't be mended and we knew that they would come to an end someday, i can't agree with you anymore so please let me free.
We both are different, there is no way we can be together. Texas
Dear Texas
I refuse to accept it, you just can't walk away when there is something that you don't like. Stop acting childish and don't lie to me! I know that the real reason is because there is someone else, you and him are bad at hiding it.
I'm still coming anyway, we need to talk. Mexico
(AN:the changes Mexico says Texas doesn't like are, among others, the ones that say slavery was forbidden in mexican territory, including him. The person that Texas is seeing is America, since texans were fonder to american culture than mexican and the interest of America had in Texas, since he tried to buy him in 1827)

Cute!
Something isn't being said here, though, California!anon recalls that the indigenous population despised the Spaniards and Mexicans because they forced them to work as slaves. Lots of natives ran away and turned to banditry as rebellion.
I want to see nations declare their independence via break up letters to their sovereign nation.
Bonus: If the sovereign nation responds with his or her own letter.
