Hetalia! I bring you three livejournal layouts. Well, more, I bring you some sweet headers and some lazy, lazy layouts to go with them if you are inclined to use them.
These all use the the Expressive: Unstyled layout. Pick it from the theme selector and then pop the code in the CSS box under the Custom CSS tab and you are golden! They are all 940px wide so if you are on a 600x800 resolution you are out of luck! What are you doing with such a tiny monitor anyway, it is 2008 already. Also they are all made for a sidebar on the right, I got no clue what they'd do if you took it out moved it around etc. Apparently you can move the sidebar where ever you dang well please. Awesome!
You will have to add the link to the header. Just search the code for "HEADER URL GOES HERE" and replace with your own link, it is right under the "Page Banner Header" section title.
It looks like this. Please don't hotlink to the headers, I'll prolly just delete them anyway and then where will you be?
STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS:
1) Upload the header image to Photobucket or whatever
2) Go to
http://www.livejournal.com/customize/ and search for "unstyled", apply the one that says "expressive" under it
3) Go to
http://www.livejournal.com/customize/options.bml and click on the "Custom CSS" tab
4) Paste the code from the CSS file into the "Custom Stylesheet" textbox. You can open the file with notepad if it doesn't auto-open in anything.
5) Look for
this bit and replace "HEADER URL GOES HERE" with the link to where you've uploaded the header.
6) "Save Changes." You are done!
ETA: 1) If you're having issues installing the layouts let me know and I will try to help until I get frustrated and stop har har har
2) You can totally modify the code however you like or use it for other layouts or whatever.
3) Some hosting services like photobucket resize your pictures on upload, so if the headers and the layout aren't lining up be sure to check that first. On photobucket you'll want to select either '1024 x 768' or '1 megabyte' in the 'reduce to' dropdown under your upload box.
