It seemed like every time Raivis started to feel like he had gotten the hang of things, something would happen and completely throw him off. One of the few comforts, however, was his dorm’s floor. Although he couldn’t account for the whole building, at least his floor didn’t seem so bad, in fact they all kept to themselves ( ... )

Ivan hadn't gotten a roommate yet, and he doubted he'd get one this year. The last few he played with got scared, and transferred out of his dorm. So what if he liked playing a little rough? It's not like those bruises will last forever. He'd given people scars before, but they deserved it for doing bad things, so they had to be punished. Oh well. More of an opportunity to invite people over to his dorm to play instead ( ... )

Raivis’ inner chanting seemed to have no affect on the universe, as he heard his named enthusiastically called, causing him to bolt upright. So much for trying to keep a low profile. His body continued to shake weakly as he turned to face Ivan, who was heading right toward him ( ... )

Ivan felt as though his heart would burst with joy when he felt the boy hug him back. Here he thought he might faint on him or start to cry, much like he did in the past. It would've been funny and nostalgic to see, but he preferred the older Raivis in a way. That meant he could hug him more often now! And maybe he can play with him a lot more often too ( ... )

Ivan dropped his childish facade for a moment as he continued to stare into eyes so much like his, but still so bright and innocent. Ah yes. He missed the fear in those eyes, being drawn into a corner like prey to a beast. He hadn't found someone to play with in a while, and he had gotten bored over time. It was nice, very nostalgic. He raised a hand and caressed the boy's cheek, gently rubbing his thumb against the soft skin. "Really? Are you still so afraid of me that you would rather hide in the shadows of your subconscious than to face me?" He asked in a deep, adult voice unlike his usual childish one. He leaned in closer, to the point that their noses were touching, and their lips were only an inch away from each other.

Then suddenly, at the last second, he pulled away. Now was not the time to start playing games. He didn't want to scare him away too quickly. "I should get going now, yes? I bet you have lots of work to do," he said, back to his somewhat normal self.

Raivis continued to shiver as he saw Ivan’s expression changed. He was completely at the mercy of the other boy, physically and mentally trapped by the experience. His eyes twitched shut momentarily as his face was touch, his eyes looking confused and worried as they opened. The Latvian gulped as he the question was asked. He had no idea how to answer that question. He could only cower at the thought of all the ways that could go badly.

For a moment, it looked like Ivan was going to kiss him, an idea that disturbed Raivis on a few levels. They were so close that he could feel the warmth on the other man’s face. But before they touched, Ivan had moved back.

Raivis gave him a puzzled expression, not sure what was going to happen. He blinked at the taller man as he tried to understand. He was just… going to go? Just like that? “Uh o-okay, y-yeah probably. I-I’ll s-see you around,” he replied with a nod.

Ivan giggled and ruffled the boy's golden locks, acting as though he hadn't just been close to kissing him a second ago. "Oh I will! You can certainly count on that. Be a good boy until then, yes? I do not want to start punishing you too soon," he admitted.

So with that, he exited Raivis' room and shut the door behind him. Thinking back, he thought that the little reunion was quite nice. At least now he'll have someone to play with this year. He smiled wickedly at the thought as he started to skip away.
