Lars found himself wanting to snipe down the chirping birds as he tried concentrating on finishing the sixth chapter of his Biology book. He knew that he was about three chapters ahead but he had wanted to be familiar with the course material since he knew that it would benefit him later on. He sighed. He really needed a new place to study. He hated the library because even though it was quiet most of the time, some jackass just seemed to love typing loudly which really pissed him off. Then there was his room..

The first time that he had finally met his room mate was anything but exciting. He had entered the room only to find that there was already someone who had occupied it before him and damn, did that person have a lot stuff. Books piled on one side of the room and a black haired boy stood staring at him with dark monochromatic eyes. Well, that's interesting, he thought to himself as he walked towards the boy. He casually introduced himself and received a reply of "Yu", which he believed was his name..You're not a talker aren't ( ... )

Compared to any other person, Yu's display of anger hardly seemed like true anger at all. Others expressed their displeasure with heated glares, incensed words and often displays of violence. Hong Qiu-Yu on the other hand, stifled his flare of anger quite effectively; the only physical sign of it that remained being a slight narrowing of his dark eyes and a tightening of his lips. As he reluctantly fished his much-abused notes from the depths of the bin, Yu was hard-pressed to keep himself from fuming and kept up a steady stream of less-than-polite commentary aimed towards the person who had so abused his hard work. What? One couldn't spent so much time around Arthur without picking up a great deal of the other man's impressive vocabulary ( ... )

(Dude I'm so sorry. I totally relied on a notification and I didn't check >< FAIL)

Even before Lars had turned the handle, he knew that the person behind the door was not pleased, at all. He refused to give even a single glance to the other side of the room as he scurried over towards his bed, unzipping his hoodie and folding it neatly to the side. He placed his book on the side table, making sure that it was perfectly aligned with the others and sighed. He really hoped those papers that he chucked yesterday into the recycling bin was not all that important ( ... )

It was plain that something had unnerved Lars when he came scurrying into the room, practically radiating anxiety. When he glanced over at Yu and raised an eyebrow, Yu was certain that his stare had thrown the older student off. Well, good. Lars would just have to put up with it, since Yu deserved to exact at least a little payback for having to stick his hands in a bin. His notes deserved justice! Um... Figuratively speaking, of course. He wasn't Alfred. He was fully prepared to stare a hole into Lars's back, until his roommate decided to change his pants. Yu blinked, then turned to reshuffling his papers into some sort of order. Absently, one hand rose to press at his temples, trying to alleviate his mild headache. This was yet another con of having a roommate, contributing to a rather large list. Yu was, undeniably, rather body-shy, which hadn't been that big of an issue back home in Hong Kong. People there were more inclined to privacy, plainly unlike here ( ... )

He frowned.Oh, well damn. It was not like he regretted the fact that he had recycled a number of his papers really, but the fact that this kid had the guts to talk back to him with a straight face. Lars examined the paper that was being held out, elegant writing written in green ink. Well, at least he can say that he actually did recognize it, but he was merely confused on why it was worth keeping notes from last year anyways. Lars wondered if he was roomed with a hoarder ( ... )
