Shut Up, Francis. Your Room Isn't Haunted

Nov 22, 2009 17:26

Who: Francis et Mathieu
Where: Room 206, Franz Joseph I
When: Late one evening, a few days after the Welcoming Ceremony
What: Francis and Mathieu getting reacquainted
Can other people participate? No
Summary: Apparently, that floating hairbrush really isn't floating after all.

Francis was sitting on his bed, leaning against the wall as he typed on his laptop, the blue light from the screen making his face glow in the dark. It had been a boring evening. He really should have gone out or something, but he'd chosen to stay to stay in and finish organizing his things and tackle some homework that one of his professors actually had the nerve to assign during the first week of school.

Since he decided to stay in, he should have at least invited Antonio and Gilbert over to keep him company. Usually, being alone didn't really bother him. He grew up an only child, so despite being very social, Francis knew how to enjoy his alone time. But this room was freaky. It had seemed fine at first, but over the past few days, Francis found his stuff missing or relocated to some random part of the room where he didn't put it. Things that weren't his were showing up in his room too! The scariest thing though, had been just that morning.

A hairbrush had floated across the room.

So, yeah. He really should have asked for his boys to come chill with him. It probably wasn't too late. Antonio was probably busy, but Gilbert never seemed to be doing anything important. (Or if he was, he willingly dropped it.) But...he really should finish this stupid paper.

And then, the lights flicked on. "What the hell?!" He tore his eyes away from the screen and looked around the room wildly, trying to find the person or thing that turned the lights.
