Matthew had nothing to do (as usual), so he was basically wandering aimlessly looking for something, anything to do. Not that he was bored or anything, he just felt like he had way too much free time on his hands. His pet was hanging lazily on his back, very much like a koala, instead of his arms for once. Kumadora did that once in a while. His bear was such a whimsical creature. Maybe Matthew was the same. Ah, more random rambling.

By the time he had realized, he found himself at the dining hall. Whoa, how'd I end up here? He wondered as he glanced around the room, finding Leticia sitting at a certain table alone. She looked busy, but that was probably a bad way of putting it. The table looked just plain chaotic, it made Matthew curious enough to approach her. He wasn't going to be noticed anyway so he sort of towered over her to see what all the scattered papers were. They were photos.

Matthew just stared. "So pretty ..."

It was true, Leticia didn't notice Matthew's presence for a while as she worked. For several minutes, she concentrated wholeheartedly on her rough draft, writing down ideas as they came to her and crossing out what needed to be crossed out. It wasn't until a shadow over her paper and a small murmur caught her attention that she turned around. She jumped a little to see Matthew right there behind her and let out a tiny squeak. "M-Matthew! Dios mio you scared me!" she gasped, placing a hand to her chest.

After a few seconds she managed to calm down and give him a small smile. "You should have said something instead of just standing there." Leti gestured to the empty seat next to her. "Here. Sorry it's messy I just..."

Matthew mumbled an apology as he shrank away from Leticia. He didn't mean to scare her, but he guessed that was a typical reaction. "I-I didn't want to bother you." He continued. "You seemed busy."

Actually, it might have been better if he hadn't approached her in the first place, but the scattered papers made him curious and now the photos did the same. He'd leave, but Matthew felt like asking about them. It was like having two opposing thoughts clash. Shrugging, Matthew decided to let curiousity get the better of him and he sat down beside her. "S-so, um, what are you doing anyway?"

Leticia snorted and waved his comment off. "Don't be stupid. I'm not that busy." Truthfully, she was kind of procrastinating. It was work work work then daydream for a while before snapping out of it and starting the cycle over again. She shuffled the papers around the table a bit to make it seem at least a bit tidier. "Just working on a rough draft for my English class...and organizing my pictures...and eating." She glanced at the plate of food on the far end of the table. It looked like it had barely been touched.

She sighed and began to collect the photographs into one pile. "Maybe I shouldn't have taken so much..."
