It's All About YOU
Name or Nickname:Greek first name. Last name means: "s/he who cuts the vine branches"
Gender:female
What do you LOVE?: being alive, the smell of dry grass, forests, tea, music, books, the freedom of the fields, clergymen, day-dreaming, ancient places (old libraries, churches, castles), mysteries, mother (my own mother as well as everyone who's willing to mother me), bright colours, radio plays, spring and summer, being able to roam wherever I want to, fine art
And what do you HATE?: telephoning, salt water, dirt, rain when I have to be outside, everything that's beyond my control, a certain feeling of emptiness inside (melancholy?), and people who don't show any respect towards others
Strengths: optimistic, cheerful, very tidy, creative, likes to keep things well-organized and under control, has the kind of heart that echoes with the feelings of others, can memorize huge amounts of information, when someone puts their trust in me I am reliable, I'm always lucky in crucial situations. Also I'm chameleon-like, that means I change my behaviour according to the current situation, being calm when everyone else panics, being energetic when everyone else can't get a move on, etc.
Weaknesses: easily excited, easily bored, I don't develop deep feelings on my own but copy other people's feelings (but my copied feelings are nonetheless real); procrastinator, also I spend time doing useless things (like excessively researching stuff I'll never need, spending hours and days on it), I like to manipulate others when I think it might help somebody, I prefer a little fun to doing something useful, lack real ambition, and if I can't make up my mind on something, I just take the adverse opinion to everyone else (or follow my chosen mother figure)
Hobbies: dreaming, writing stories and letters, coming up with new organizing schemes, tidying rooms, running, rummaging through shops, clothes-shopping, analyzing whatever seems interesting, playing guitar
Favorite Color: glitter pink
What is your favorite food?: chocolate, does that count? I also like potatoes, but Chinese, Greek and Italian dishes are my favourites. I really love fish, too!
Favorite Country (without taking Hetalia into consideration): I prefer cities to countries, really. I love Malaga (Spain), and I'd love to go to Vatican City (+ Rome). Prague (Czech Republic) should be great, too, and Gdánsk (Poland). And, of course, Vienna! (But the place I want to go to now is Hills of the Crosses, Lithuania.)
Mature or Childish?: childish. Mature when required to lead, but life is much easier and funnier when you're childish, so of course I act childish. Especially around people who I feel threatened by - around these people I act like a weak, naive, very cute child, so that they won't have a reason to attack me. Always works.
Would you prefer to lead or follow?: follow, because it's less bothersome. But I have to find someone trustworthy first. So, when I get to a new place, the first thing I do is looking for a mother figure I can follow blindly and who does all the work for me (finding someone like that is not as easy as it sounds and requires a lot of investigation). And I cannot settle down before I have found such a person. In emergencies, when there's no one else with the capability to lead or no one I consider trustworthy, then I will take the lead, and I'll get really mad when people don't follow my orders to a T.
Let's Talk HETALIA
Favorite Character and WHY: Better ask me whom I NOT like. I don't like the Baltic States. It's not that I hate them, they just strike me as rather boring. I mean, all they ever do is being scared of Russia, never developing any real creativity. Oh, but I love all the other characters - it started with Germany, then suddenly N.Italy became my favourite. Then I read the Chibitalia stories and fell in love with HRE and Chibitalia. Next, some Russia fanart really impressed me and I came to like Russia. Right now, I find America totally funny and lovable. UK too. And Spain. I like them all, really.
Is there a certain strip that really sticks out for you?: The one in which N.Italy plays with Germany's hand comes to mind... not sure why.
Hamburgers or Tea OR MAPLE SYRUP?: tea. No sugar.
Who dresses the best in the series? ♥: 1st price to UK, that's for sure. 2nd: Prussia, Chibitalia and Austria. +Russia, in the Blood Sunday 1905 comic, when he wears that uniform jacket with the epaulettes. It suits him well.
America/Alfred wants to watch a scary movie! Which one would you pick?: I really like "Sleepy Hollow", it's one of my favourites. Not sure if it counts as scary movie. I never thought it was scary, but I like it, so we will watch that and no objections.
How about a favorite ship/couple?: Germany/Italy. Su-san/Finland.
AND A LITTLE MORE~
Do you believe in spirits or ghosts?: No. But I like them.
You're at war! Do you take the enemy head-on with full force or lay back and take time to tactically move your forces?:
Step 1: Wonder how I could've been so stupid to ever get myself into a war.
Step 2: Send the enemy leader a gift basket with a glitter card asking him to be friends again.
Step 3: If he insists on fighting, I'll send my diplomats there, saying how weak and useless my country is, and that we are really not worth the war. If he still insists on attacking, then Step 4 kicks in:
Step 4: Start a love affair with the enemy. And when he's asleep I'm chopping his head off. Then I take over his troops. And over his country. (Really, I had no other chance, I mean, being the leader of my country means that the one and only purpose in my life is to serve and protect my people! I can't let my young men be killed by some self-proclaimed enemy's army, can I?)
You have to be transported to a deserted island! Oh no! You're allowed to take three items; what are these items?: a helicopter + pilot + camera. If I can't have that, then I choose a mother figure I can follow around when I'm there (really, I can't be bothered with working out things on my own all the time!)
Please describe how you look or share a picture if you have one:
I indeed posted a portrait here And my eyes are greenish.
Any final words?: I know I sound a bit deranged but I love the life I live.
Would you be so kind as to link those surveys you voted on before posting this?:
A B C D E F G H (sorry, it was such fun, I couldn't stop)
Oh, can I see your vital regions?: No.
Edited for dumb spelling.
