It's All About YOU
Name or Nickname: Chaser
Gender: Female
What do you LOVE?: Writing, my girlfriend, collecting perfume, spending time by myself or with a few close friends, reading (especially work by Alan Moore!), beadwork, watching good anime that isn't repetitive or cliche, cats, getting massages, praying, tea, learning new things.
And what do you HATE?: Hate is a very strong word, and I try not to use it a lot. There are several things I dislike, but very few things I hate. These, however, would be noisy crowds, making small talk, wickedness in any form, confrontation, having to let people down, having to deal with a chronic mental illness that messes up a lot of my life, losing things, most goodbyes, change.
Strengths: I'm intelligent, creative, compassionate, very tolerant of others, willing to learn new things, generous to a fault and (usually) quick to forgive.
Weaknesses: I'm fast to anger, however, often self-absorbed and untrusting, and my self-esteem is non-existent. I can also be incredibly stubborn, over-dramatic and very nasty (verbally) when crossed.
Hobbies: Beadwork, writing fan fiction, googling useless facts about Hetalia nations, collecting perfume, singing, watching the ocassional movie or TV show, reading widely on a variety of topics, studying psychology (I'm not a professional and I did not major in the subject, but I can say in all honesty that I am better educated about my mind and the ways in which it can break than some so-called professionals I have met).
Favorite Color: any shade of green!
What is your favorite food?: just about anything vegetarian or vegan that comes from China, Japan or Southeast Asia. Sushi in particular.
Favorite Country (without taking Hetalia into consideration): Wow, that's a tough one. Right now I have to say Armenia, because I have learned a few years ago that I am part Armenian and because Armenians are incredibly strong and brave people, dealing with genocide on one hand and then being absorbed into the USSR.
Mature or Childish?: I would prefer to be mature in all things, but I'm often immature when it comes to emotions.
Would you prefer to lead or follow?: Lead if it's a task I can do well and direct others in the doing of, follow otherwise.
Let's Talk HETALIA
Favorite Character and WHY: It's a split between two: N. Italy because I'm a sucker for cute, carefree, gentle and slightly feminine boys and Lithuania, because I admire his strength, kindness and quiet dignity.
Is there a certain strip that really sticks out for you?: Like every Germany/N. Italy shipper in the universe, the Buon San Valentino strip made me smile for roughly a month after reading it.
Hamburgers or Tea OR MAPLE SYRUP?: I don't eat meat, find syrup kind of disgusting and adore just about every kind of tea -- without any milk or sugar. Ugh.
Who dresses the best in the series? ♥: I like Lithuania's uniform a lot, but ultimately I have to go with America, because of his bomber jacket.
America/Alfred wants to watch a scary movie! Which one would you pick?: The Village. Everyone hates M. Night Shyamalan lately, but much of his earlier work was great. I happen to be the only person on the planet who actually liked and was terrified by The Village, however, but then again that might be because the woods at night scare me a lot.
How about a favorite ship/couple?: Germany/N. Italy! (I sorta run a community for them and all ^^;) and if I can pick another, Russia/Lithuania. I like the first because it's adorable and Germany and N. Italy seem very perfectly matched (especially if you think as I do that Germany is a grown up Holy Roman Empire). The second I like because it is a complex and often unhealthy relationship, and therefore interesting to consider.
AND A LITTLE MORE~
Do you believe in spirits or ghosts?: Yes, absolutely. For one thing, there are more things in heaven and earth than we dream of in our little philosophies, as Shakespeare said. For another, the accounts of hauntings are so many and cross so many cultures that it is difficult to think of them as made up.
You're at war! Do you take the enemy head-on with full force or lay back and take time to tactically move your forces?: Honestly, whatever will win the day. Sometimes a full-on attack is necessary and good, and sometimes one must retreat and consider.
You have to be transported to a deserted island! Oh no! You're allowed to take three items; what are these items?: I'm guessing that I can't take a boat that works and enough supplies to get me to land? ;) OK, then. My complete works of Shakespeare, a good Bowie knife and my anti-depressants.
Please describe how you look or share a picture if you have one: I don't really "do" pictures of myself online, but if you imagine a slightly shorter, stouter Hungary with slightly darker skin and nearly black hair, you've got me. :)
Any final words?: Buon Tomato!
Would you be so kind as to link those surveys you voted on before posting this?: Yes!
