It's All About YOU
Name or Nickname: Sami
Gender: Female
What do you LOVE?: Rock/Alternative/Metal (only sometimes on the Metal) music, oversized t-shirts, writing, psychology, video games, spicy food, chocolate, funny things
And what do you HATE?: PHYSICS, people who are jackasses for the sake of being jackasses without even being funny in the process, unnecessary chaos, CROWDS, not being able to perform to the best of my ability, people who slack off when they could easily do significantly better (although I’m guilty of that too… *sigh*), stress, being wrong (sounds like a stupid thing to hate, but that’s how it is…), needless drama, having to write about myself (then why am I doing this? Whatever.)
Strengths: I’ve been told that I’m very intelligent, conscientious to a fault, a good listener, I have a very unique perspective on things, I can be really funny sometimes (roughly 28% of the quotes in my Speech Team’s quote book come from me)
Weaknesses: I’m a little pessimistic (though I insist it’s being realistic) and tend to put myself down when I don’t feel like I’m doing things right, I can be lazy at times, my self-confidence is a little low, I freak out when I don’t know what I’m doing, I’m very shy IRL, I’m hard on others (and probably doubly so on myself), I tend to “police” people around me (if you’re talking when you shouldn’t be, I WILL tell you to shut up- even though I think I’ve stopped doing this a bit recently), I miss things that are blatantly obvious (I like to say that the closer it is to me, the less likely I am to see it), I get anxious easily, I can be out-and-out mean to people that bother me, I can have extreme emotional outbursts… wait, why is this list so long?! Why are all my negative lists longer than my positive lists? Great.
Hobbies: Video games and writing. There’s more to it, but those are my “hobbies of choice.” Oh, and fancy cars. If a Porsche drives by, I’m practically required to shout “OMG A PORSCHE JUST DROVE BY!!!” Same for a Corvette or a Lotus (very, very rare). I also make catchphrases that stay in circulation for roughly two months at a time. You might not see many in my typing/writing/????, but they’re very common when I speak. And how did I forget my Speech Team/IE? For those in the know, I do Prose, Poetry/Verse/Whatever they’re calling it this year, and HI (Humorous Interp).
Favorite Color: Red. No frills about it, really.
What is your favorite food?: Tough choice… it’s either the chili I make every once in a while or Rocky Road ice cream. Chili’s currently winning, though.
Favorite Country (without taking Hetalia into consideration): Hmm… not sure. America is up there, since it’s where I live and all, but I also kind of like Japan… it seems like a very interesting place to be in.
Mature or Childish?: I try my best to be mature and in control, but I can be childish for the sake of being funny… and when I break down. ><;
Would you prefer to lead or follow?: It depends. Probably lead, since I sometimes worry that I’m the only one that knows how to get the job done. That doesn’t sound very good, but it’s actually true in some cases…
Let's Talk HETALIA
Favorite Character and WHY: Mmm, Germany. I always thought I was a little like him (don’t let that influence your decision, though!), what with both of us being very orderly people (and having to put up with less-than-adequate underlings). Also, Italy brings out a soft spot sometimes. I like tough men with very soft soft spots… and on that note, I also like Sweden for a similar reason: he looks all tough and scary, but he definitely has a soft spot (see: that strip where he buys Sealand off eBay and actually seems really happy). It also helps that I consider them both really handsome~ (Tall + blonde hair + blue eyes = Yessss… but really, enough of that!) Oh, and Austria too. I love my glasses men.
Is there a certain strip that really sticks out for you?: America’s Cleaning Out the Storage strip is the first one that consistently comes to mind. I thought the subject/portrayal of it was interesting.
Hamburgers or Tea OR MAPLE SYRUP?: Tea. I hate hamburgers. X_X
Who dresses the best in the series? ♥: Germany (uniforms~) and Austria (classy!)
America/Alfred wants to watch a scary movie! Which one would you pick?: Erm… I don’t do scary movies. Or many movies at all, for that matter.
How about a favorite ship/couple?: Germany/Italy (but only for Germany) and Sweden/Finland (only for Sweden). I’m kind of a lousy shipper that way. XD;
AND A LITTLE MORE~
Do you believe in spirits or ghosts?: Yes indeed. Even if they don’t exist in this world, they probably exist in other worlds… but that’s another can of worms entirely.
You're at war! Do you take the enemy head-on with full force or lay back and take time to tactically move your forces?: I don’t like to move out till I’ve got everything planned and accounted for. Maybe I’d send one force to do things head-on and hold back the invaders while I work out the tactics with another force.
You have to be transported to a deserted island! Oh no! You're allowed to take three items; what are these items?: A cell phone with reception, a GPS, and… a hatchet/machete, maybe? Or, alternately: A boat, a GPS, and a decent store of food. Or, alternately again: A portal that leads directly to the mainland, preferably right in front of my house. Take that, pesky Island Problem! Ha!
Please describe how you look or share a picture if you have one: 9 times out of 10, I’m the shortest person around at 4’ 8”. I have short brown hair and rather narrow brown eyes. I’m also kind of… uh, curvy? (That’s a little embarrassing to say… I hate writing physical descriptions.)
Any final words?: Um… I forgot them.
Would you be so kind as to link those surveys you voted on before posting this?:
