ABOUT YOU
Introverted or Extroverted?: Introvered. More antisocial than shy, though.
Rational or Emotional?: Rational. Way too rational for my own good.
Optimistic or Pessimistic?: I'm cynical about people, but I think things will turn out for the best.
Dominant or Submissive?: A bit of both. It's not as if you can easily walk over me, but I also don't feel comfortable asserting myself around people I'm not familiar with.
Large Groups or Small Groups?: Small groups. I feel lost in a large group of people I don't know, and even with people I know, the noise of all the overlapping conversations gives me a headache
Cautious or Impulsive?: Cautious. Going along with being rational, I think about things way too much.
Pet Peeves: More than anything else, ignorance. People who are over-emotional/have no self-confidence. People invading my personal space without asking me.
ABOUT YOUR PARTNER
Which traits would you want in a partner?: Somebody who I could hold intelligent conversations with (who wouldn't think I'm weird when I start quoting Vom Kriege in non-military strategy discussions), sense of humour (and doesn't mind my sense of humour, which can be overly sarcastic and deal low blows), probably a bit odd, and spontaneous and fun (because I'm not)
Which traits wouldn't you want in a partner?: probably above all else, dishonesty/fakeness, low self-confidence, lazy, overly childish behaviour--I don't want to be babysitting them
Dominant or submissive?: I suppose they'd have to be dominant, because there's no way in hell I'd ever make the first (or second, or third) move
Introverted or extroverted? Extroverted
Romantic or like a 'best friend'? More like best friend. I don't really do romance.
Would you rather have a fast-paced relationship, or take things slowly?: slow and steady wins the race...
An ideal date?: I'd probably get flustered at a formal date, which means I'd get irritated and crabby. So. Uh. I guess like a backpacking (or x-country skiing) trip would be fun. Or else going to a museum with an exhibit on war/military history or something sciencey.

Anything Else?:
Strength of character does not consist solely in having powerful feelings, but in maintaining one’s balance in spite of them. Even with the violence of emotion, judgement and principle must still function like a ship’s compass, which records the slightest variations however rough the sea.
