ABOUT YOU
What is your basic goal in life? What would you and your rival most likely be competing for? I have, for some reason, a driving urge to be the best. I don’t care what the competition is-strongest, best friend, most personable, smartest-I just have to win it. And anyone who gets in the way of that would be a rival, I suppose.
Would you taunt your rival openly? I don’t know if I would taunt him, as in sticking out my tongue and saying “na na na~.” However, I am rather partial to witty comebacks/insults and gloating laughter.
Would you taunt your rival quietly or anonymously? No-if I was going to taunt them, I’d be a man about it and do it to their face. Even if I was being a jerk, I’d do so with my honor.
Would you resort to dirty means to beat them? As I said above, I value my pride and my honor. I wouldn’t want to have to cheat in order to win-that would take all of the fun out of winning.
Let's say you lost to them. Would you be a good sport about it? I’d try to be, and, to the outside world, I would be. However, in my heart of hearts, I’d probably be bitter as hell. And I’d cry when I got home.
If you won, would you boast? HELL YES. I mean, I’d try not to.
ABOUT YOUR RIVAL
Would you prefer them to be sneaky or obvious about competing with you?: I like open, clean competition. I would want to know who I was up against. Then again, I can really respect someone who has the smarts to be subtle…
Do you want them to be good at whatever they're doing? Some like a challenge, after-all~: Of course! When I beat them, I want to feel like it’s a real victory, after all!
How would you want them to act if they won? I hate false sympathy or pity, so I’d almost rather that my rival was open about their happiness when they one, and maybe even a little mean about it.
How would you want them to act if they lost? I would hate it if they completely fell apart-it might make me feel bad. They should take defeat with their head held high-after all, they lost to me, which is nothing to be upset about.
Would you like him/her to be your friend after it was all said and done? Of course! Friends when the competitions over = a competitor again for another day, right?
If you found out they cheated, would you be upset? Would you alert others about it, or just suck it up? I’d be very upset. I love the spirit of competition, and anyone who can’t abide by it doesn’t deserve to be called my rival. I’d probably cheerfully punch them.
This may not relate to your goal, but let's say... There's a wonderful prize for winning! Your rival has a very sick mother and needs the prize money to pay for the operation! ...Would you lose on purpose? NEVER. I would consider giving the prize to my rival after I won, though.
