I was previously stamped as Austria. I think he suits me in some ways and in others he doesn't. It's nice to be thought of as classy, but I'm definitely not as classy and elegant as he is. Re-stamp me as anyone but Austria, please?
It's All About YOU
Name or Nickname: Amanda (Aiko)
Gender: Female
What do you LOVE?: I positively adore the fabulous country that is France as well as Europe. I also like to waste time on the Internet and read manga. And I can't live without my piano. Beethoven's Ninth rocks my socks.
And what do you HATE?: Bigots, ignorance, arrogance, and conflict. I try to avoid conflict like the plague.
Strengths: I'm usually a really cheerful and optimistic person, and people seem to find me to be easy to talk to. I think that I am a well-rounded, easy-going person with a broad range of interests.
Weaknesses: I have too much pride! I feel like I have to be the best at everything I do, and I wind up being incredibly disappointed when I find out that I am not, particularly when it comes to school. Sometimes it gets so bad that I refuse to ask for help in math despite knowing that it's my worst subject out of sheer embarrassment, and I continue to insist that I'm "smart enough to figure it out on my own". I'll even let one bad grade ruin my entire mood for the day. Sometimes I don't like being criticized, either, even if I don't show it. I'm also incredibly lazy and a huge procrastinator. I'm also sometimes not as honest with people as I'd like to be because I don't want to hurt their feelings or start a fight. Even on the anon meme, I don't always post what I'm thinking because I don't want to start an argument, even though it defeats the purpose of the meme …
Hobbies: I like to be on the Internet. A lot. I spend far too much time on Livejournal, especially at the anon meme. When I'm not on the Internet (whenever that is), I am probably reading manga, playing the piano, or studying history or a foreign language, mostly French these days but sometimes dabbling in German because I don't want it to go "poof" like Spanish did.
Favorite Color: light blue
What is your favorite food?: Crab! And pasta!
Favorite Country (without taking Hetalia into consideration): My heart still belongs to France. Actually, since the last time I was stamped, my heart now completely belongs to France. And, yes, I was madly in love with France before I read Hetalia having been there before, and I love the people, the culture, the language, and the history. I was also so incredibly, incredibly touched by their openness and kindness, despite the horror stories I've constantly heard about the French and the Parisians especially. Hetalia's France actually had to grow on me when I first started reading the series, but it's only natural that now he's my most favorite <3
Mature or Childish?: Childish. There are times when I can be mature and serious, but mostly, I like to keep things light-hearted. It's gotten me in trouble every once in a while.
Would you prefer to lead or follow?: Follow. Being a leader is too much pressure and the perfectionist in me will be afraid to mess up.
Let's Talk HETALIA
Favorite Character and WHY: France has pushed England back to being my #1.5 favorite. Despite being a Francetard at the time of starting Hetalia, I couldn't bring myself to like him at first because his perverted nature creeped me out, but later his antics really started to make me laugh. He's most probably really sweet, reliable when he needs to be, and still a lot of fun. And he has so many hobbies! Also, having started studying a little French history m'self, I like that he has so much potential unexplored depth besides the crazy things he does that makes the fandom go "O FRANCE". It'd be nice if Himaruya would draw more strips about French history to bring out some of that depth in his character that I know is there.
Also, he's France. I was bound to fall for him sooner or later.
Is there a certain strip that really sticks out for you?: Cleaning out the Storage and whichever strip it was where Jeanne d'Arc appears in because I love it when historical figures have cameos in Hetalia. Hetalia needs more French history. :<
Hamburgers or Tea OR MAPLE SYRUP?: Hamburgers! I never really liked tea much, anyways.
Who dresses the best in the series? ♥: Austria and France. I'm not too fond of France's military uniform, but that blue 17 ~ 18th century chevalier!wear of his is so flashy. And I love it.
America/Alfred wants to watch a scary movie! Which one would you pick?: I'm not very familiar with scary movies! How about some Disney?
How about a favorite ship/couple?: France x Jeanne d'Arc, France x U.K., and France U.S. are my main ships, but I also love the dynamics of France x U.K. x Seychelles and Hungary x Austria x Prussia.
AND A LITTLE MORE~
Do you believe in spirits or ghosts?: Yes! If I watch or read even the smallest thing about ghosts, I can't sleep without a nightlight of sorts on for like a week lolol please don't laugh too much
You're at war! Do you take the enemy head-on with full force or lay back and take time to tactically move your forces?: Tactical. Though, that's totally opposite of what I do in fighting video games. Which is never defending, being too stupid to ever remember any special abilities, and just pressing a lot of buttons and hoping I get some good combos of punches and kicks! Yeah!
You have to be transported to a deserted island! Oh no! You're allowed to take three items; what are these items?: A knife, a blanket, and maybe a book for entertainment?
Please describe how you look or share a picture if you have one:
The same as last time! I'm not responsible for any damage.
Any final words?:
Would you be so kind as to link those surveys you voted on before posting this?:
un,
deux,
troisOh, can I see your vital regions?: No, they belong to France, sorry! ~
