THE BASICS
name: Brianne.
gender: Chick.
stamped as: Austria.

ABOUT YOU

introverted or extroverted?: Definitely introverted.
rational or emotional?: Mostly rational, though I have the occasional and embarrassing moment of emotion.
optimistic or pessimistic?: Pessimistic, but again I have that occasional moment of hope.
dominant or submissive?: Mostly dominant, but I'd have no problem with letting someone else take the lead.
large groups or small groups?: Small groups; how can anyone have a decent conversation with so much noise? That and I cannot keep names straight too well, so I'd hate to risk an embarrassing moment in a crowd.
cautious or impulsive?: formerly impulsive-- now cautious, to the point that it can be a dual-edged blade.
pet peeves: holier-than-thou attitudes, loud noises, undisciplined children, overbearing dominance, lack of class, clingy people, shameless self-promotion, bad fashion sense, waking too early, interruption of my time alone.

ABOUT YOUR PARTNER

Which traits would you want in a partner?: I've found that those who are far too emotionally needy are the ones that I cannot stand; I cannot deal with them, they cannot deal with me, and that's that. Nonetheless, all in moderation is the key, and I would like someone more emotional than myself (fairly easy task, as I emote like a robot sometimes). I would also like someone willing to stand up for himself/herself, someone who can also stand up for myself if needed, and someone with a spine; I've dealt with people of weaker constitution, and I do want someone who can be a defender for me in my moments of weakness. The standards generally apply: kindness, acceptance, and a little playful. Which leads to this: seeing as I'm quite tame, someone else with a bit more passion and wildness would be ideal just because I have a thing with complementary opposites.
Which traits wouldn't you want in a partner?: As stated above, weakness, hypersentimentality, but I also cannot deal with those who are intolerant, bossy to the point of domineering, emotionally cold, snobby, and judgemental.
dominant or submissive?: A healthy mix of both would be fine, but I'd prefer if someone take the lead for once.
introverted or extroverted? Extroverted, but not to the point that he or she sees too far past his or her nose.
romantic or like a 'best friend'? I'd like a best friend in public, a lover in private.
would you rather have a fast-paced relationship, or take things slowly?: Ideally, it should be taken slowly; however, if there is a great deal of passion, I'd have no problem with going at a faster pace.
an ideal date?: First, a trip to the book store or library (it's a perfect spot to learn someone's interests); if weather permits, then a nice walk in a wooded park, or even a sojourn through the woods; I'd like to either spend the afternoon napping or reading with, if not to, my company; and then would come a great dinner out. If things get off course due to spontaneity, I'd go along with it, of course... even if I would get a little flustered at the start.

does it matter which gender your 'partner' is?: Absolutely not, for true love is transcendent.
anything else?: .... This all makes me sound horridly old-fashioned, doesn't it?
