Well Canada is one of the main parts of the Commonwealth, so yeah they're taking part.

okie, i am just worried cos i really wanna see canada in the games and from what i know, US is not taking part so i am just really concerned that somehow it exclude the north americans or something. glad this is not the case!

Well the US isn't part of the commonwealth, that's why they don't take part.

It just had to be at 8:00 in the morning ... ah well.

I suppose that the closest to the "home team" would be Canada (and by "closest" I mean "I could easily drive there"), so of course I'll be hoping for them to do well. ^_^
