Oh no. He made another wank...yikes.
Just...something has been...bothering me lately.
As a fan-fiction writer, I find it very distressing that people expect you to write & portray the characters the same way they do.
Example(s); Northern Italy saying 'pasta' all the time, Rumania being a vampire, Mezzogiorno Southern Italy constantly bitching, France being perverted, psycho!Russia and etc...
If expectations aren't followed, people get pissy and write you off as 'inept'.
Honestly I hate when that happens.
I hate the fact people expect the writer to have the same portrayals/headcanons as they do, but when upon disagreement, they immediately retort, "Well, you look silly doing that." or "That's what everybody else does."
The last one especially irks me - not all writers do/think/write the exact same thing. Sometimes it feels like you're being railroaded to only write certain things.
