VOTING POST

Night has come for a sixth time on King's Court Island, and, as always, at 12:00 AM, all the residents of the house have fallen into a deep sleep...

The Demons have gathered again in the Silverbell Ballroom (photo). Tonight, the Silverbell Ballroom is decorated black.

VOTING hetaliafia November 14 2010, 06:36:56 UTC
[Your character must cross out in red the name of the nation whom they are voting for tonight.

Discussion is still open within this thread if you have not decided as a group yet; alternately, the group is free to disagree, but majority wins and all votes are viewable by others at the table.

Vote now, Demons.]

Okay, here's how we stand.

The best person to kill now would be Prussia. Second best would be Vietnam. But Prussia's the doctor. He'll probably save either himself or her. Picking either of them is really risky; if we don't kill somebody tonight, we're in trouble. If we can figure out who we think Prussia'll save then we might risk it, but if we can't, it might not worth it.

If we don't kill one of them, I think it should be Egypt. He's smart and he's more likely to listen to Prussia than us. He'll probably be voting with Prussia tomorrow.

I'm inclined for Egypt.

Do you think Prussia will save himself? Or what he said was just bravado?

Yeah, me too.

I don't know. It doesn't seem like him, but he also knows that we're more likely to lose with him around, not Vietnam. So 'cause of that, he might go for Vietnam.

Tomorrow, if Prussia's still around, we can say "if he's so on the right track, why haven't the demons targetted him?"

It's still a flimsy way of targeting him. What we need is a sure fire way to prove he's not the doctor. We have to see where had firmly slipped.

It's a good idea in theory, though it sounds difficult in implementation. Do you have any ideas on how to go about doing that?

Prussia's have had varying moments of enthusiasm and dedication to the search for demons. What we need to do is find an incident where he faltered completely, which means any fatal decisions he's made that had to do with Germany.

It's just a theory, I know, and I'm grasping as straws, but we really need to discredit Prussia as someone they could listen to.

I don't think we can convince anybody he's not the doctor. It's like he said; if there was a doctor other than him, they would've tried to expose Prussia as a fake by now.

But we can act like he's too stubborn to admit that his theory was wrong. Two people already died because they voted for Cuba. England and I can be loud about arguing that, we're both protecting ourselves. You need to be quieter, but if you're talking about voting with anybody, you can say you're not sure Prussia's on the right track.

Maybe say you're worried about him, he's been so upset since Germany died and hasn't been acting like himself.

And besides that, every time I've voted recently, it was because he told me to.

If we're killing off Egypt, we mostly have to worry about Prussia convincing South Italy and Monaco. You should still be safe, Hungary. Vietnam and China aren't looking in your direction, and Prussia won't vote for you.

South Italy voted random, for Prussia, and random again. I'm not worried about him.

Monaco could go either way, but she hasn't voted with the group. All she needs to do is not vote for one of us. If Latvia decides to vote that might be trouble, but he's been keeping quiet.

Tomorrow I can keep an eye on things. If it looks like everybody is going for you, I'll make sure to really piss off China and Vietnam close to the lynching to try and split the vote.

You're safe tomorrow, Hungary, so you might have to vote with us, but otherwise distance yourself.

And what if you accidentally irritate Prussia, as well? ... But I suppose there's no helping it. I'll try to keep him close.

There's no use planning what we can't know, at any rate. But you should still be careful, as well.

So it sounds like we're decided on Egypt?

I'd rather kill Prussia, but it's probably too risky.

Egypt it is. I can't see Prussia protecting him, of all people. He might go for himself or Vietnam, but not Egypt.
