And then plushies took over the world..

Well, it's just that. A few weeks ago someone begged me to make them a plushie, after seeing the ragged looking ones I made years ago. (that doesn't really make sense to me, but.. ^^; ) And even after declining them, I was eventually persuaded. Though I made an effort to come up with a better looking design and all.

And then I had to go and tell my ( Read more... )

...I don't know what you're talking about I think J-E-N-O-V-A fits our mother perfectly well! and where is my Kadaj icon when I need one..

And I don't think there's any reason to worry about making a couple plushies. It's not a bad way to pass time, and it's going to give you sewing practice, design practice and earn you some money simultaneously.

xD Glad you think so.

I suppose so. Though I've already had tons of hand-sewing practice all my life; the machines I never touch though. It was kind of hard coming up with the designs, especially for Bakura's robes. At one point, I was nearly done with the red one, only to realize the robe was way too small. ;_; Had to do it over again. I hope I'll get better with design though, since I plan on making different plushies soon to help advertise.

(But plushies kinda creep me out.)

Ack I hate when that happens. Good thing you tend to learn pretty quickly. I'll be wishing you luck though, are you advertising this on deviantart yet?

(Or maybe it's that you're making plushies of creepy people?)

Yes, I put up an journal a few days ago with commission info and submitted a pic of my Bakura plushie to a fanclub. And I already have someone that seriously wants to commission me, (and a few that are thinking about it.) That was fast. ^^; Guess I'll have to go see what they want now.

(...hm, perhaps. xD And seeing evil people looking cute is somehow wrong. Never really thought of it like that before.)
