Yeah, I usually like wearing those kind too. Just not at work. >< It's such a pain trying to keep it clean and neat, whereas the other work shirt you could do practically anything to. You wear neckties? Intriguing. Actually, I'm beginning to seriously consider it, since the shirt completely covers any trace of the necklaces I wear, and I'm feeling like it's too bare and plain up there. Though if I do it, it should probably be black, to match the pants and all. Do you think I'd look better in a normal tie or a bow-tie?
It sucks knowing she's only got a short time, and not being able to even speak about it without upsetting her. Though maybe it's better like that, since she's so sensitive about the subject. She seems to be clinging to some optimism and doesn't want to be reminded of the facts.
Um, I think I still have 50 or 40 minutes left on it..
I do sometimes. Personally I prefer regular ties to bow-ties, though I think you could pull off either. And it will probably not surprise you that I consider the pros and cons of either as "bow-ties look funny by virtue of being a little ribbon on your throat that makes you look like a present. regular ties are bad because anyone who knows how they work can strangle you with it." If you go for the normal one, make sure it's a slim one, otherwise it'll look comical.
That's a shame. I always thought there was a certain grace or dignity in knowing and accepting one's fate, though I can understand not wanting to talk about it just the same.
Call me up! Well. In a few days. When my throat isn't so sore anymore and I can actually speak again. ^^;
Well, I always thought bow-ties looked cool.. (Looking like a present? ^^; ) And I've ironically always been wary of normal ties for the exact reason of it being a perfect rope around someone's neck. Guess I'll look for a place the sells both kinds (for cheap) and see how each look on me.
I suppose everyone handles these things differently.

I'm sorry to hear about that. Guess I can relate on the part of getting jaded though. I wish she'd permit people to visit.
...got any money left on your calling card?
