because it may have saved my life. certainly it saved my car.

tonight, the lady and i met one of our brown pals down in fairfax for some merrifield hookah. the lady is at the tail end of her recovery from jaw surgery and needed to gtfo of the house for a bit. and i needed some smoke. we had a great time. played some arab version of spades which ( Read more... )

yeah, seriously.

i thought i had written it down somewhere but i can't seem to find it... but a similar thing happened to us when i was living over in takoma park. we were the last in line at a two lane intersection when this car just came flying up behind us. luckily though, that car was able to veer in to the empty oncoming lane. but then a cab got in its way and it plowed in to some poor guy's yard and through his fence.

now that's some shit.

here was that intersection. if google gives you the same view i have, that square house on the right was the yard that got plowed in to, with the car coming south down blair.

man, that was freaky. but during the day. so not as freaky as last night. also, much less carnage...
