Analysis: Clinton crushes Obama across the board - CNN.com:Clinton, as expected, trounced Democratic front-runner Sen. Barack Obama in the West Virginia primary. In the process, she underscored Obama's weakness with blue-collar, working-class white voters -- a segment of the electorate that may prove pivotal in November.

Clinton also destroyed Obama in Virginia counties that border WVA. Same rednecks, one might say, except that these same counties went overwhelmingly for Doug Wilder.

Obama's problem in these areas is less his skin color than his snide attitude toward and thinly veiled contempt for these kinds of people as expressed in his Frisco remarks. They don't like snobs, and Obama is certainly a snob. They voted for W.J. Clinton overwhelmingly, but ran like hell from Kerry, another condescending toff in the Obama mold.

How Hillary can be equated with Nader in your book is also beyond me, this being a primary not a general election.

I, too, despise John McCain, but I do so for the correct reasons: The campaign finance reform attack on the 1st Amendment, and the attempt to destroy the American working class so that he, Obama, and their plutocratic friends can have their pools cleaned for $2 an hour.

Welp, people who won't vote for someone because they perceive articulation, awareness and intelligence as snobbery are fuckin' dumb. It's like that elite horseshit. You don't want an "elite" president? Naw, I'd rather have the half-assed idiot because, well, beer taste good and I'd like to have one with him. . . *blows head off*

You're not picking someone you would be friends with or some that can intimately and familiarly relate to you. You're picking the Goddamned leader of seriously fucked country. BTW, it's not condescension when too much of the country really is that fucking dumb.

wait... so you're saying you take issue with someone who comes in and starts making "elitist" and "snobby" comments about how they don't like a politicians "snobbiness" and then add in a nice little "oh by the way MY opinions are way more valid than YOURS because i don't like mccain for the RIGHT reasons you person-who-is-beneath-me!"

huh.

whaddaya know.

There's the piss poor reading comprehension that keeps me coming back! I did not reveal my attitude towards elitists and snobs, only those of the inbred holler crawlers that comprise the WV Democratic electorate.

I'm in favor of snobbery in general, and I find Obama refreshingly articulate, though completely full of shit like any other politician. "Change" and "Hope" are not policies. Hell, they aren't even tangibles.

I won't vote for Obama because he's a big government kind of guy and a foreign policy naif. Full stop.

Also, I have the distinction of living on the same street that wretched waste of carbon Russert was born on, Woodside Avenue. Hell, my dad was Big Russ's paper boy when Mrs. Russ' kicked that thing out of her womb. God I hate South Buffalo. . .

Wednesday
EXCLUSIVE: Tim Russert Farts On Television
Sorry to be such 5 year-olds here, but yesterday during Race for the White House With David Gregory on MSNBC, Tim Russert farted, rather loudly, on the air. We re-winded the moment about 25 times to make sure we weren’t hallucinating, and sure enough, the fart - which occurs about 14 seconds into the clip - was both real and magnificent. See for yourselves, and spend the rest of the afternoon making “windbag” jokes in the comments. (Even though Russert’s fart was so awesome it sounds like a special effect of some sort, this audio in this clip was in no way edited or altered from what aired on TV. We can’t stress this enough.)

Pfft. I seen old guys cry tears of pride over paint-peeling gastrointestinal "disturbances" at the Irish Center. Just one more reminder that that power-fellating, pumpkin headed fuck is "one of us" (sorta.)

*loads shot-gun*
