Name: gonsai
Personal LJ: gonsai
Contact Info: aim = gonsaifong
Other Characters Played: Patchouli Knowledge, Virginia Maxwell, Ashton Anchors, Mystia Lorelei
Preferred Housing: I have no real preference, but active housemates are always a bonus

Character Name: Dizzy (she has no canon last name, but if she needs one, Undersn will work for now)
Character Series: Guilty Gear
Character Age: About three years old, literally, but physically appears to be an older teenager/young adult. Wife or child slot is up to y'all, though I would honestly prefer a child slot.
Background: Full history here + I will be assuming that Path One of her AC+ story mode is canon. The note that she is a human/Gear hybrid is not canon supported, either, and thus will not be recognized.

Personality: Dizzy is, in short, a sweet and kind individual meant to represent the innocence of a pure being. She is uncorrupted by the ways of greed or hatred. Even when faced with the unimaginably cruel I-No, Dizzy simply questions why and chooses not to associate with the red witch. It may very well have been intended on Daisuke Ishiwatari's part to make her appear as this bastion of peace, marking such a bold point in contrast to the dark setting Guilty Gear finds itself in. I'd buy it, as she's continued to be spoken about in Overture to this degree.

Dizzy's nature is played up to a large degree early on in canon. In much of the artwork for By Your Side, we see her surrounded by woodland creatures and bringing a soft, almost brotherly smile to the usually stoic Testament's face. Her personality and belief that peace is the goal of all living things even gets to the once Gear hating Ky Kiske, whom is lead to strongly question himself after meeting her (canonly they fall in love and have a child together, in addition to this). The main character, boiled hardass Sol Badguy, goes to great lengths to protect Dizzy from the cruelties of the world, and hints that she is the hope that both mankind and Gear alike have been looking for. All of this goes back to just how pure she seems to be.

One of her primary goals, it seems, is to create a world where humans and Gears can live in harmony. Now, this may seem like childish idealism, but Dizzy has a certain charisma that causes even stubborn people like Ky and Testament to hang on her every word. Most characters who come across her throughout the game are genuinely impressed by her way of life, even those like I-No whom wish to destroy it. It's possible that she could accomplish this goal (though as of Overture, this still seems a long way off). She values living peacefully with those she loves above all else, from what we see of her in the games' story.

However, Dizzy seems to have a certain... fear of herself. She is a living weapon of mass destruction, after all. In the alternate timeline of the Side Red/Black Drama CDs, Dizzy goes murderously insane and decides to cleanse the world of all life. It is possible that, with enough pushing, THAT Dizzy could come into existence. I-No, the only character aware of both timelines, seems to recognize this, and at several points in The Midnight Carnival, she tries to push Dizzy towards this madness. After all, Dizzy IS Justice's daughter. Some people feel she should carry on her mother's work...

Mentally, Dizzy's mental potential is on par with her physical/magical abilities. She develops intelligence very VERY quickly and is able to learn quite several times faster than even other Gears. In three years she already has the mental capacity of a bright young woman. That being said, she's not likely to grow AS fast as she did in those three years. However, for as much learning potential and wonder as Dizzy has, she's still very childish in many ways. Much of this is to blame on Dizzy's accelerated growth. She never had a childhood, and tends to look at matters with very simplistic views. Concepts of higher thinking are mostly lost on her at this point.

Emotionally, Dizzy is steadfastly dedicated to her pacifistic ways. Even with all of that power, she refuses to use it. She's even hesitant to use even a small fraction of it in self-defense, and protests when Necro and Undine use it for her in order to protect her. Even with all she has seen since coming out of the Sacred Place, she holds to this belief. Unfortunately, Dizzy is very easy to manipulate (I-No proves this on many occasions). The same desire that is so ingrained in her also causes her to become rather stubborn. To protect that peace, she will go to many lengths. I-No uses this to goad Dizzy into fighting her on a few occasions, seemingly to draw out the monster within her.

Abilities: Dizzy is a powerhouse. Amongst her own race, she is the single most powerful Gear on the planet. Her magical ability is off the charts and this plus her existence as a political threat earned her an S Rank Threat Level from the Post War Administration Bureau. Amongst her abilities are various types of elemental magic, summoning, self-regeneration, limited flight, near invulnerability, the Command ability (allows her to have dominant will over other Gears and possibly some animals), and a mutating body that can form into various weapons when needed. A permission post already exists in her journal.
