my friend's friends made that movie. az. and i saw it a while back at the SF film fest. i liked it a lot but found myself wondering if the movie was too sympathetic to the teacher. the kids he was teaching got screwed.

whoah, you are totally famous! i went back and saw it again even. you are right about them getting screwed, but at the same time it seems like my favorite teachers were always the ones who walked a narrow line between respectability and completely obviously fuckedup.
