This question is entirely random, but it popped into my head a bit ago. Legally speaking, does furry cubby pr0nz count as child pornograghy? On that route, what about hentai with underage characters?
That's kind of a touchy subject. It also begs the question of stories written about minors and such. Personally, I don't think it's right, but then again, these are make-believe.
I think the problem with underage hentai or cubby porn is that, some people might try to act out what they see cartoon characters do. And I say "some" because the general public doesn't do that. Unfortunately, it's always the group that gets punished for what one or two people do.
I mean, just because Wiley E. Coyote tries to make bombs to blow up the Road Runner, doesn't mean we should. But, that doesn't mean people haven't tried it. (As sick as that sounds.)
It makes perfect sense, Tassa, but still doesn't really answer my question. :D I understand the moral stance, of course, but I was asking the legal stance.
I asked a friend who works in law enforcement. He said that, technically, since it's animated, it's not illegal. However, they are trying to pass laws against it.
Hmmm... Legally? Good question. I'm not sure, or sure how you could find out. know many people CONSIDER it the same as child porn, but I'm not sure if courts would.
