Ok, I've been using this puppy for a week now, and I've a few thoughts to share.

Also, I've had a look at the specs of the 3GS and my phone. It's for all practical purposes, the same... besides the screen res being almost triple the 3GS and having a slightly slower graphic chip. But at least your battery lasts longer (again, due to the resolution of the display).

It's probably just down to the OS now.

Hehe, well, I'd have to try out both before I could determine which OS was better. I do like my iPhone. I hope the 4.0 update is good.
