Sorry! I meant to get this posted earlier but between working late and having to decorate the Christmas tree and try and figure out an alarm system....things were hectic today. So, without further ado, this is your 10,000 word check in!

I have over 20K currently, but as to those words being in a coherent form... that's something altogether different. I should be on schedule to have a good workable draft for the artist consideration in late January.

I'm not at 10000 yet, but that's more due to falling and injuring both knees than problems with my story. I hope...LOL

Thank you! I will be fine, but may need surgery. I broke a piece off of my left femur/knee joint (?? not sure what you call that part of the bone in English) which may need to be removed.

One question. This is my very first Big Bang (and Hewligan...eeep!) so it's all new to me. Have I understood it correctly; first draft is due right after artist sing-ups close, late January? Or is it February 19th?

HOLY! O_O OMG, that's terrible! :(

The completed story drafts are due on Feb. 19th - that is, your story complete but unpolished. For the draft, there's a beginning, middle and end and you won't be making any major changes to the story. The artists get the drafts to read and create art from - which is part of the reason there should not be any big changes made after the draft is due as it would be terrible to have an artist do art for a section of the story you decided to remove. ;)
