Name: Narcissa Malfoy née Black
Format: Journal
Date: 29 December 1971
Relevance: Details of N. Malfoy's relationship with convicted murderer S. Black (see file Black, Sirius Phineas, Section 3.28 for additional materials) and the obvious willingness of both to use spells to torture.
Transcript: Father met with those men again. Locked away in smoke and firewhiskey in his study. Probably still down there.
Aunt Walpurga was out so Regulus and Sirius came with Uncle since he doesn't trust them on their own after the bathtub incident last week.
We had to get rid of him though. He was being horrible again. Sirius learned a new spell from some book in the library and wanted to use it on him. Once he stopped moving, we were able to move him into Great-Aunt Hesper's chest so he wouldn't be found for a long time, though he smelled awful even right after the spell.
We actually did it. I can't believe it. It was disappointing though. He didn't last as long as I thought he would and it was a lot messier than other ways.
Perhaps next time we can try something else. I'm certain there are lots of books here or at Grimmauld about it.
