Name: Luna Lovegood
Format: Homemade crossword puzzle and clue legend
Date: September, 1997
Relevance: Evidence of L. Lovegood's attempts to communicate secret messages to Harry Potter.
Archivist's Notes: Analysis has matched the writing within the crossword puzzle as L. Lovegood's, and the type on the clue legend matches the typewriter in W. Lovegood's home. Thought to be the first draft of a puzzle found in the back pages of the October issue of The Quibbler. If so, L. Lovegood was using her father's magazine as a way to communicate with Potter while he was away.
