Severus Snape, Cheery Hallows

Dec 01, 2007 00:40

If you went and looked under the signpost it was always hanging there, but somehow it seemed to turn up when anyone decided they'd had enough.

She barely broke even, even working out of the sitting room, but they said she could near enough work magic--and wasn't that the truth. )

See, if only you were less of a prat in canon.

...

You realise this means a squishing, don't you?

*squishes*

It's a ploy.

...Oi, hands, you maniacal typist! Personal space! I dribble explosively and throw jars at people! Well... allegedly... near people, anyway... when they've been led to believe they've violated my head... and only the really cheap and inert ones, unlike certain hurlers-of-instruments-he-wots-not-of who shall remain nameless... so... that's probably a ploy too... but that's not the point!!!

(squishes back) ♥
Someone must catch the quote or I will be sad. (big eyes)

*keeps Cissa from doing bad things to the sign when she was doing other Bad Things in 1980 so throws her back a few years*

*has forced a house elf to take her to Spinner's End after sending it to get the precise location of the Snapes' house*
*is dressed in elegantly tailored but very practical (for a Black) robes in pale aqua*
*wrinkles her nose at the general area and slips her hand in to curl protectively on her wand before she walks down the narrow street to the house the Elf indicated*
*wishes she could use a knocking charm on the worn door but settles for just using her knuckles*

(puts up his periscope to see who it is and nearly chokes)
(pulls the bookcase-door open with mainly his fingernails and back and scrambles out)
Narcissa?!

*blinks at his response as she hadn't quite expected this level of scrambling*
Do I appear to be someone else?
*peers curiously behind him*

No--but--
(flaily fumbling for how to put this so as not to get glared at)
...this isn't someplace I expect to see you. (alarmed) Is everything all right?

Oh, lovely! Severus should be congratulated on that, I think. ;)
As a completely useless aside, the hook for hanging at the top looks like a particularly sneaky snail peering over the top of it, and caused me much random amusement (mainly at my own expense, it should be noted).

Heh, apparently he thinks so, too. (swats him) n,n;
...You're right! XD
As an aside, your email was not lost in cyberspace, and the question is creeping up the list of things I've been sadly slow with while letting them simmer on my backbrain. (sheepish)

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I spent several minutes trying to figure out what the hell a snail was doing there. *facepalms*
