I talked with Allyekhrah (okay, so her real name's Katie but that just makes it more confusing since that's my name as well). She also lives in Beijing and an expatriate (She's German and goes to the German school). We're going to meet up on the 27th to wander around the city and go shopping

That's my problem also. I study for the SSAT at my mom's gigantic desk, which also serves as her make-up storage. I'll find myself applying eyeliner in dramatic shapes on my cheek to avoid studying. Quite sad, I know. ;_;

Maybe you should try working on a large art project? Maybe buy a roll of canvas board and, if you have the materials, spend some time making a mural. That's something I've always wished to do. I can't really come up with any other suggestions. I'll keep thinking tho. <3333

I'm no good at large art projects; they try my patience and I usually end up quitting. What does one paint on murals, anyway? (Just wondering, since I really don't know.)

Uh, I was going to suggest video games, but I see you ruled that out already. So I have just the trick. Go to www.noteworthysoftware.com and download the program. Then go to www.vgmusic.com and get any MIDI from any game you want. Drag the MIDI into the program, and insta-music. This way you can entertain yourself by playing cool songs, AND expanding your musical skills/horizons. Or at least, I have. That's what I use to get all my way cool songs, you should too.
