I'm back to nannying my 13 year old niece twice a week for about 3 hours a night. I was wondering if you had suggestions for good ideas on how to make the most of the time for the both of us. Learn how to knit? I suspect you may like many of the structural aspects of knitting, although I have no idea what you'll think of its efficiency ( ... )

I ask her opinions on everything and try to give them at least a little respect. I have showed her my kraken, used her to test the size, and have been asking her opinions on various aspects. She is still young enough that her opinions tend to be stuff like "You should make if fuzzy and cute." And when asked if she would buy one and for how much, she replied something like "yes... maybe eight dollars?"

My friend was telling me that you can get free passes to museums and other theater etc. events at the Mpls libraries. You might check that out.
