 I love my new hours at work.  My boss has decided to actually try an idea I gave her.  (I decided to stay at my current workplace, but thats a whole other story) So, I asked if we could try working 10 hour days at 4 days a week instead of the traditional 8 hour/5 day weeks.  She's allowing just my dept in the firm to try this.  Its working ( Read more... )

That's great news that things have already improved at your job :) With all the overtime you were putting in, a 10-hour day probably isn't much of a stretch! That sucks about your car though. Cars can really eat through your money fast, can't they?

Feel free to recreate those new recipes for us sometime ;) They sound great!

I'm glad you'll get to see the Rubios at Christmas. I know it wouldn't be the same without them :)

laura loves her 4/10 schedule even though she has to work sundays.

Definitely. We'd love to have you and La over one of these nights so we can cook for ya! :) We still have to drop by one day to see the new digs on the home front. I hear it looks fab!

i love working 10 hour days too - sometimes long.. even if we're busy - but i'm so not a morning person so the extra day off during the week helps! and your food sounds yummy and dangerous!!!! mmm.....
