Dear Journal,
It's no secret that I have a thing for DOLLS.....I have a LOT of DOLLS....some I am going to keep forever, others I intend to sell.....soon.
Recently I've stumbled across BlytheThis doll was created in 1972 by Allison Katzman & marketed by Kenner. It was only out for one year, a total flop......30 years later....she's a hot commodity

There is also the blythe community on lj, they often post links to dolls they have modded or need to sell smile.

I had one of the kenner ones when I was a kid and so wish I had kept it.

OH no the doll I had is now worth something like 5,000 dollars to collectors, that sucker would so have been sold lol.

I do love the dolls and want one but i've got the volks/obitsu dolls that I have customized and they are the bodies used to replace the original ones when they customize the dolls.
I usually only get dolls now that I really like and that I need ie they are a size/type I don't have since I use them as models and dress dummies grin.

For whatever reason, I've been using dolls similar to your bottom image as backgrounds on my cell phone.
