oh yeah and one other thing, i don't know what's come over me but for some reason i actually enjoy seeing my family now. i don't mind coming home on the weekends and i actually kinda miss them sometimes. oh well i guess it had to happen at some time. i've been seeing a lot more of my dad lately too. he's actually making an effort to call and c me ( Read more... )

i know the feeling. i miss home a lot :P and my family...and iunno i think its part of growing up...not being so annoyed by yer parents/family anymore

i use to hate spending time with my mom
now i actually find it comforting and relaxing
it's weird what can happen when you move away from them...if only we moved away from them in high school
could of made the bond stronger then too
it's that whole absence makes the heart grow fonder shit..that or we can jsut tolerate them now

looks just like letty...remember i was trying to describe..well yeah that is what letty looks like...cept not as pale

Im convinced this happens to most people when they are sophomores or juniors in college, and I think that it has to do with just growing up and you're parents treating you more as an independent adult rather than a child. That and the fact that they dont get to see you very often. It happened to me and now my dad is more like one of my really good friends than the dad he used to be. Because im older he feels more open about talking about anything - so its a lot cooler that way. Family is a great thing to keep close with :D
