(no subject)
Okay, I'm going to rant about Grey's Anatomy and then I'm going to bed. I promise.
Okay, my first thought was "How did they open up a whole new clinic in just one week!?!?!" but I guess in TV-time you can do anything. Also, if Dr. Bailey and I guess, Izzie, are in the free clinic, they're down two surgeons in the ER and OR's. They'll work it out I suppose...I'm interested to see how they develop that storyline. ( p.s.-couldn't they have come up with something more exciting than a girl getting her first period?!)
So George and Callie got married...Callie O'Malley!! Haha!! I'm so glad they're not putting Callie in the drag queen makeup anymore. That shimmery eye shadow was getting to be a bit much.
I'm not too sure how I feel about about the Addison/Alex storyline. At the end I was shocked at the Addison/Mark sex scene, but I guess the sole purpose of that was so we could all hear her say "I'm not thinking about you" and all, of course, assume she was thinking about Alex.
I was glad to see a more in-depth story with Meredith's mom. I thought, for maybe half a second, that the Chief was going to suggest him and her having a life together now, since she was lucid and he's getting divorced. I don't know if they'll go that route, but it just popped into my brain for a hot minute. Or maybe he told her to picture the house and kids and him because he knew she'd forget about, but it would make her happy in that moment. Hmmm.......
The patient with the toxic blood..that was an odd storyline. I liked the suits Burke and Derek had to wear to go in there...it was very E.T. :) I thought it was a little over the top with Addison rushing in there and Burke and Derek staying long past the time their air was supposed to be out. I would imagine Doctors live by some kind of standards that they are supposed to take care of themselves first, so that they may take care of the patient, but I guess it was all just for drama.
I'm glad Burke and Cristina have worked things out and she feels confident that she can have a life and focus on her career. They really complement each other, and yet, they are also a lot alike.
GAH I am so not in to Addison/Alex. Intern/attending lovin' is OLD NEWS. Alex and George should have gotten together. haha. Okay, maybe not.
also, has no one else noticed that Meredith's dad and his new family and the sick baby seem to totally disappear from Seattle Grace to make room for Mom? I watch every week, but I don't really remember the baby going home...the story line was just dropped.
Please someone correct me, if I've forgotten...I think last weeks episode is still on the DVR, so I'll go watch it again.
