I love how he's still so involved in this tiny little fandom :)

I would have loved to see Mr. Hyunh's daughter, Mai, in more episodes.

It looks like Craig doesn't have a definite answer when it comes to the characters Rhonda and Harold because I've been hearing a lot of different answers from him saying he prefers H/R or H/P or, believe or not, C/R. That last one was something he didn't confirmed to everyone but that just something Mia told me after having a conversation with him. I think he doesn't have a definite answer to these ships. I think it's just up to the persons interpretation.

And Eugene being gay isn't all that definite either. He's 'kind of proto-gay'? That statement can be misconstrued. I think Eugene is more of a awkward kid.

I always liked Harold/Rhonda, but I have no problem with Craig's preference in Harold/Patty (it's how some fans took his words, as if shipping H/R is "being rebellious against Craig and totally wrong" 9_9).

"Kind of "proto-gay"? That doesn't sound very serious, to be honest. Not that I mind the idea of Eugene being gay (like some people...), I just thought the wording was odd.

I have nothing against H/R. The problem with some people shipping them is that they think it's cool to attack C/R because they think it'll never happen. I think that's wrong and it's because of that I can't ship those two at all. You can ship it but don't expect me to. I use to draw H/R until things got out of hand and I'm like 'no thank you I'm done here'. It's like what I said before it's up to the fans interpretation. Also my sister made a good point about all this. She said 'how about forget about shipping and the fandom and just watch the show for what it is'. And I applaud her for that because it's basically how it should be like how you were when watching it as a kid and just loving the characters in general. I know some shipped before they knew what shipping was but you never knew what the heck fandom was and that what makes things a little better in my opinion. I keep telling myself I'm never gonna look at this fandom ever but I go back on my computer and see if I'll find something I like. And I do!! but at the same time I ( ... )

Well, I have nothing against C/R or the shippers, even though I don't ship it myself (like you said, you can ship it but don't expect me to). Ironically enough, I've run into similar situations (but I guess it would be backwards in this case with certain shippers bashing H/R because they HAVE to be with *insert person here*...) And if you can't find yourself shipping them or drawing them, that's your business. I mean, there are certain things and I can't find myself shipping or drawing or whatever for similar reasons. I can say that I do agree about the fandom... and to be honest there are times when I wish I hadn't really delved too much into it ( ... )

Not in love with the phrasing of "proto-gay", but well... duh! He's very strongly coded as gay throughout the run of the series, which is pretty awesome because man do kids need to have more positive queer representation in media directed at them!

I definitely don't think Craig really has a strong opinion on Curly/Rhonda/Harold/Patty. I've seen him give positive responses for all combinations.
