Dean had given Cas a month to adjust. Things were still weird for him, if he was honest, he didn't think Bobby would take kindly to him leaving the apple pie life to deflower the angel, but he couldn't help himself. He'd tried to ward himself away from Cas but somehow the angel looked appetizing as hell when he was getting out of a shower, or lounged across the couch and Dean couldn't help but assert that alpha gene and animal magnetism right onto him in the moments where he was taken by whatever this new thing was between them

Cas really wanted to be there. He'd had dinner all ready, even if it was just something he knew would more or less catch Dean by surprise. Him...going to get his favorite burgers from a place he hadn't visited since he was a child. But work was work. And he wanted to insure that Dean would never have to deal with Lucifer again. But even so it didn't make up for the stuff he was going through right now. Abandoning Dean would only make the hunter that more angry at him for not showing up with dinner. He hadn't even realized it was one month since they'd started...whatever they'd started between the both of them. He just knew that he hadn't left Dean's side for so long that it felt normal again. At least normal for him.

Dean had to do the usual asking around thing but without the preparation. He stole a fake cop ID out of his glove box, took a peak at the name and went to the first gas station in town for direction. From there it was the hospital where he maintained that he was undercover because he was in one of his flannels and a pair of jeans

Helpless...was not an expression the archangel wore often. Or well for that matter. But he did wear it now. His head had shot up when he heard one of the guard's scream out before it was silenced. But it was enough. Just enough for them to try and rush through the ceremony, handing out a small cup to all the teenagers who stood circled around the flames that only threatened to grow higher when the shot rang throughout the church. Some of them hesitated at first as the 'leader' as Castiel assumed rose his cup and took it down like a shot before the others followed suit.
