SO my kids want to see Juno. I haven't seen it yet, but it's only PG-13 - is there anything really objectionable?

I don't know why I worry, they have seen and heard quite a few things in their time.

It's a very sweet and really well done movie. I don't think there is anything particularly objectionable about it. That said, it deals with teenage pregnancy, and never explicitly condemns it (nor condones it for that matter.)

It maybe the type of movie you have a conversation with them about afterwards?

I agree with what steidhe said.

There is also what I guess you could call a "prelude to a sex scene", but it's all tastefully shot (you never see any actual butt, boob, or crotch nudity).

On the whole, though I love that movie. You should see it!

There's mention of abortion as well. And she disses Sonic Youth.

*obligatory comment from someone who didn't see the film but thinks it will destroy America*

I took Emma to see it when it first came out. I was slightly embarrassed a couple of times, but that was so long ago, I can't remember exactly what was embarrassing.
I think if you talk about it after, it's fine. As long as they don't walk away thinking "cool, I want to be knocked up and have a bitting, but super-sweet sense of humor at sixteen"
