Does anyone know if there's a specific name for turn of the century carnival/fairground art? I'm having a really hard time researching examples.

I picked up a book a couple of years ago called "Freak Show: Sideshow Banner Art," by Carl Hammer and Gideon Bosker. Most of the banner art is from the '40s and '50s, with a few modern examples.
Sadly it doesn't have a bibliography in the back.
