Gwen, please chill. I was just joking around with Gaby in that convo. Hence the me recounting things people said often in ebonics. We weren't brave or courageous or anything by staying. We were out of our minds and could have been arrested or worse, seriously hurt down there. At the time I wasn't thinking clearly and my impression was that there actually were NO cops, so we could stay and do whatever. We were wrong.

After telling the initial story to Gaby I told her constantly how smart all you kids were for running and how we were stupid and came so close to...peril and stuff. Yeah. I din mean nuffin.
