[ 'cause the finish line is a shifty thing, & what is life but reckoning? ]

Sometimes, I wonder if I’ve lost the capacity to believe, if what I took for strength & solidity, for science, is maybe just another kind of weakness.

oh man, I missed him & the crowd. I must've been sleeping!

at least we know he'll be back.

Sleeping through it wasn't the worst thing you could have done. I was really disappointed by my first run-in with the good reverend. But yes, he'll be back once it's warmer, I'm sure.

I'm kind of sad that I had to go to class right when a group was forming. Also, I have the inability to read Justin's facial expressions, so which one is that?

You could have skipped class like half the crowd seemed to be doing? (Not that I endorse truancy or anything, oh no. Speaking of which, what did I miss in Berryhill on Wednesday, anyway?)

Justin is feeling nervous in that picture. It was a toss-up between that one & Image hosted by Photobucket.com, which is really much prettier. But I had too much energy to be 'blah', I guess. We'll save that for another day.

A street-preacher guy who goes from campus to campus. He was really quite crazy (like, really; he joked about hitting his wife) but the people who gathered in protest were pretty raucous & immature, too. Still, it was overwhelming, how much all of them seemed to believe in something.
